Bragaglia was involved with the Futurist movement in Italy. Futurism was an art movement which expressed a desire to be modern. Futurism embraced music, poetry, typesetting, architecture, film, art and photography. He produced his own manifesto the Futurist Photodynamism of 1913: “Photodynamism is a creation that aims to achieve ideals that are quite contrary to the objectives of all the representational means of today…”
