The artist lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
The architect and town-planner Jorge Mario Ja´uregui has become known for his
effective interventions in the favelas of Latin America, in particular for the Favela
Bairro Programme created by the city of Rio de Janeiro in the mid-1990s.
