Marina Nash

I am a local, internationally known artist/designer whose inspiration stems from an affinity with my natural surroundings.  My backgrounds in art and architecture have fused science and design to shape meaningful works that appeal to the senses.  I have chosen to synthesize classical ideals of beauty, proportion, passion, and reason with current global concerns of climate change by using alternative energy technology to create sculptural, restorative environments.  My new design venture, Restorascapes, is a mission to restore balance in a digital world, where over-stimulation is challenging human health, well-being, and productivity.  Restorascapes has effectively reconciled the elements of our natural surroundings with architectural design to meet individuals’ fundamental needs and mitigate everyday challenges they encounter.  In short, Restorascapes is an exploration of art and science, blending beauty with function.
