The Naked City
Pedro Barateiro’s poetic photographs, drawings and installations explore the production of social and ideological space, the interpretation of images, and our mediated experience of seeing the world. For the Sydney Biennale, Barateiro has created a group of 82 ‘videopoems’, to be screened (one per day) for the duration of the exhibition in a constructed ‘cinema’ on Cockatoo Island…
