Youri Messen-Jaschin – the installations, sculptures, oil paintings
Native of Latvia. Born in Arosa in 1941 – , The artistic studies bring
it to the Ecole Supérieur Nationale des Beaux-Arts (he is the pupil of
the professor and master Robert Cami) and to the Hautes Études de la
Sorbonne (history of art, professor Pierre Francastel) from the Ecole
Pratique in Paris. From 1962 up to 1965 it returns visit to the Ecole
des Beaux-Arts to Lausanne. It works with the engraver and painter
Ernest Pizzotti. For the first time, one speaks about his art work to
the Expo Lausanne…
