Danish artist Nina Beier studied at the Royal College of Art in London and is currently based in Berlin. She works both
individually and in collaboration with artist Marie Lund.

Nina Beier and Marie Lund
Nina Beier and Marie Lund have been working as a duo since 2003. With staged events as well as videos, photographs and sculptures, Beier and Lund tinker with social hierarchies and group dynamics. They often start by issuing a simple set of instructions that participants – both collaborators and audience members – are free to interpret.

The artists have made unfired clay replacements of sculptures that have disappeared from public and private collections. The models exist on the premise that they are destroyed if the originals resurface.
