Melinda Patrick

Melinda is a native of Houston, Texas and practicing artist since the age of 5, mentored by her artist grandfather. She holds a BFA from the College of the San Francisco Art Institute.

Melinda has been a graphic designer for over 30 years, only dabbling in fine art from time in the form of printmaking, jewelry design and occasional painting. Now she has put all aside to devote her time to painting.

"My paintings are intended to be eye candy. They are meant to grab the eye and entertain it with color and form and geometry.

I’m drawn to imagery of my native Houston, Texas and my paintings are usually a snapshot of what I see around me."
